Welcome to the world of aerobatics!

The Aerobatic Club of Finland was founded in 1983 and it has approximately 100 members. It is a member of the Finnish Aeronautical Association (Suomen Ilmailuliitto), where it represents the interests of sport aerobatics. The club also represents Finland in CIVA and is a founding member of the coordinating body of Nordic aerobatics.

The first national aerobatic contest was held in 1986, and since then the club has organized the Finnish national championships annually. Members have participated in the World championships as pilots and judges since 1994. From 2001 onwards the club has been systematically building the Aerobatic Team of Finland with international competitions in mind.

The purpose of the club is to promote sport aerobatics in Finland by:
Improving the possibilities to engage in aerobatics
Increasing the awareness of aerobatics with pilots and general public alike
Training pilots and judges
Organizing and participating in national and international competitions
Showing a commitment and responsibility to safety

Organizational Structure
The ACF is led by a 4-member Board, which consists of the President, Treasurer, Secretary and Member, who are elected by the members of the club and serve two-year terms.

Planes & Pilots
The club has some twenty active pilots who practice and participate in competitions on a regular basis. Planes are mostly co-owned and include an Extra 300, an Extra 300L, a CAP 231, a CAP 232, a YAK-55M, an Ultimate 10-300S, several Christen Eagle II's and Pitts S-1's.
